I first discovered the term “virtual assistant” back in 2016 while on one of my favorite platforms…Pinterest! I had always wanted to work from home but didn’t know how to make that dream a reality. As soon as I heard this term, I was immediately intrigued!
A virtual assistant is someone who does work off-site, for a fee. There are SO MANY things you can do as a virtual assistant (VA)! A few well-known tasks include email management, social media management, graphic design, SEO, and customer support.
A VA can do so many things that I had never even considered as well, such as send out holiday cards to clients, take food pictures for bloggers, or set up a LinkedIn profile. For a massive list of tasks a VA can do, check out this link (scroll down a bit after you click the link) for a list of more than 275 things a VA can do!
How to know if you need a VA?
Are you overwhelmed with your inbox? Taking too long to respond to emails? Missing out on leads due to your long response time? Are there things you put off as you don’t enjoy doing them? Do you not have enough hours in the day?
If any of the above is true, consider hiring a VA! I love taking admin tasks off my client's plates. There are so many administrative tasks that don't need their special touch that I can help with!
Personally, what I enjoy doing the most is organizing anything, email management, and Pinterest management. I’ve also done some podcast transcription, social media engagement, tech training, and other various admin tasks.
I currently have a few hours open on my schedule. Send me an email at hillary@hillarysieg.com so we can talk more to see if we'd be a good fit to work together!
