All About Me!

Hey, it’s Hillary!

If you are reading this, chances are you are interested in hiring me as your VA, or you are interested in becoming a VA. Either way, it’s nice to meet you!

I am from the Midwest and moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in 2019. I absolutely love it here! I can see mountains every day driving around, on walks, and even from my house, and it makes me so happy! The hardest part about moving here was leaving my best friend and niece/goddaughter, born shortly before we moved here. Thankfully we can talk/text and send pictures back and forth to stay connected :)

I married my amazing husband Jon in 2015, and last year we renewed our vows in the place that made us fall in love with the PNW and move here: Olympic National Park.

We both work from home, so I enjoy our time together to break up the workday. Also, it is very convenient to be so close to my personal tech support! He is a software engineer, so he has come in handy countless times.

Our lives pretty much revolve around our two dogs, Ava and Cooper. My favorite color is the rainbow. I love dark chocolate, traveling (especially to National Parks), and taking pictures! Lists, schedules and organization is my jam! I can speedread, which comes in handy often as a VA. I am a vegetarian and am trying to learn how to cook more, but my husband does most of the cooking.

I am passionate about equality and diversity (another reason we love living here!). Besides being a VA, my favorite jobs were working in a call center for health insurance as I love to help people understand their insurance and working as a patient advocate. I am also very interested in helping kids in foster care and volunteer with Seattle Love Box.

My favorite show is Gilmore Girls. I have seen it approximately 7,548 times and even got to visit Stars Hollow right before the world shut down for Covid!
